Propalot started with a simple irritation: the biggest decision of most people's lives was being made on the ugliest, noisiest websites they'd ever used.
Our story
Founded in Johannesburg. Built for the whole country.
In 2018 our founders were house-hunting simultaneously in Sandton and Cape Town, and kept a shared spreadsheet of everything the portals wouldn't tell them: real levies, load shedding schedules, fibre availability, what the house actually sold for last time.
That spreadsheet became Propalot — a marketplace where the intelligence is the product, the design respects your attention, and every listing carries the answers you'd otherwise spend three weekends hunting down.
Today Propalot lists across nine provinces with a team of vetted specialist agents and the country's deepest per-listing data layer — 23 AI signals and counting.
