Terms of Service

1. The service

Propalot (Pty) Ltd operates a property marketplace and intelligence platform. We connect buyers, tenants, sellers and registered agents; we are not a party to any sale or lease concluded between users.

2. Intelligence, not advice

Valuations, investment scores, fairness indicators, projections and all other AI outputs are informational estimates generated from available data. They are not financial, legal or professional advice, and material decisions should be confirmed with qualified professionals. Data can be wrong; verify what matters.

3. Listings and conduct

Sellers and agents warrant that listings are accurate, current and lawfully marketed. We verify what we reasonably can and remove content that fails our standards, including duplicates, misleading pricing and misrepresented media. Don't scrape the platform, misuse another user's data, or attempt to bypass safety systems.

4. Fees

Browsing is free. Seller success fees and professional subscriptions are as quoted at the time of agreement, inclusive of VAT, payable via our supported payment providers.

5. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law — including the Consumer Protection Act — Propalot's liability is limited to fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. The boring-but-important rest

South African law governs. Disputes go first to good-faith negotiation, then arbitration in Johannesburg. We may update these terms with 30 days' notice for material changes. This preview build is a demonstration environment; listings and transactions on it are illustrative.
