Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the minimum we need to run a property marketplace, we never sell your personal information, and enquiries go only to the single agent or seller you choose to contact. You can export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard.

What we collect

Account data — name, email, phone number when you register. Activity data — searches, saved homes and viewing requests, used to power your alerts and recommendations. Transaction data — offers and documents you explicitly upload, encrypted at rest. Technical data — device and usage analytics, collected in aggregate.

How the AI uses your data

Recommendations, alerts and search parsing run on your activity within Propalot only. We do not train models on your private documents or messages, and listing intelligence (prices, safety, utilities) is derived from public and municipal sources — not from tracking you.

Your POPIA rights

You may access, correct, export or erase your personal information, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. One email to privacy@propalot.co.za does it — no forms, no friction. Data is hosted in-region with approved processors and retained only as long as the law and an active account require.
